   Tornado Watch Number 590
   NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK
   200 AM EST Thu Dec 15 2022

   The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

   * Tornado Watch for portions of 
     Extreme southeastern Alabama
     Northwestern Florida and Florida Panhandle
     Southern Georgia
     Coastal Waters

   * Effective this Thursday morning from 200 AM until 900 AM EST.

   * Primary threats include...
     A couple intense tornadoes possible
     Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible

   SUMMARY...Thunderstorms still pose a tornado threat through the
   remainder of the morning across the watch area, in a favorable
   parameter space.

   The tornado watch area is approximately along and 65 statute miles
   east and west of a line from 30 miles east southeast of Apalachicola
   FL to 50 miles north northeast of Albany GA. For a complete

   PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

   REMEMBER...A Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable for
   tornadoes and severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch
   area. Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for
   threatening weather conditions and listen for later statements
   and possible warnings.

   AVIATION...Tornadoes and a few severe thunderstorms with hail
   surface and aloft to 1 inch. Extreme turbulence and surface wind
   gusts to 60 knots. A few cumulonimbi with maximum tops to 450. Mean
   storm motion vector 25030.
