The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a
* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of
The Edwards Plateau of Texas
* Effective this Sunday afternoon from 550 PM until Midnight CDT.
* Primary threats include...
Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2.5
inches in diameter possible
Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible
A tornado or two possible
SUMMARY...Severe storm development, including supercells, is
expected this evening along a slow-moving cold front now just south
of San Angelo. The storms will spread southeastward through early
tonight, with the attendant threats of large hail up to 2.5 inches
in diameter and damaging winds of 60-70 mph.
The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 45
statute miles north and south of a line from 115 miles west of
Junction TX to 10 miles south southeast of Junction TX. For a

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

High values are bolded and lighter in color to provide awareness of
an increased threat for a particular event.
