   Areas affected...-Texas Gulf Coast

   Concerning...Severe Thunderstorm Watch 336...

   Valid 070110Z - 070215Z

The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 336
   continues.

SUMMARY...The severe threat will move offshore after 02Z, but
damaging wind and localized hail threat will continue until then,
especially with intense supercell southwest of Corpus Christi.

   DISCUSSION...At 01Z, thunderstorms have consolidated into a
primarily linear mode (with embedded supercell structures) across
the middle/upper TX coast, while an intense supercell is ongoing
southwest of Corpus Christi. Some damaging wind threat will persist
with the line, though the tendency has been for outflow to become
increasingly dominant and for updrafts to gradually weaken with time
as storms encounter increasing MLCINH near the coast.

Further southwest, a 77 MPH wind gust was noted in the last hour
with the supercell that passed near Kingsville, TX. The threat for
widespread damaging wind and some hail should continue with this
cell until it moves offshore by 02Z.
