   Concerning...Severe potential...Watch possible

   Probability of Watch Issuance...40 percent

   SUMMARY...Isolated severe thunderstorms are possible this evening
   across portions of southern VA into northern NC. Watch is being
   considered for this region.

   DISCUSSION...Remnant MCV is shifting east across southern WV. This
   feature evolved from earlier MCS over the lower OH Valley.
   Convection has been maintained along the leading edge of MCS cold
   pool which is now spreading east of the higher terrain. Over the
   last half hour new robust updrafts are maturing along the wind
   shift. With strong westerly flow aloft, it appears this activity
   will spread toward the southern Chesapeake and adjacent coastal
   regions. Damaging winds and hail are possible.
