   Mesoscale Discussion 0889
NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK
   0247 PM CDT Wed May 29 2019

Areas affected...much of central/eastern Pennsylvania into New
   Jersey

   Concerning...Tornado Watch 292...

   Valid 291947Z - 292145Z

The severe weather threat for Tornado Watch 292 continues.

SUMMARY...The severe threat continues across much of WW292 with
damaging winds, large hail, and a few tornadoes possible.

DISCUSSION...An ongoing QLCS is oriented southwest to northeast
across central/northeast Pennsylvania with discrete supercells
developing ahead of it. The storm environment remains conducive with
effective bulk shear of 40-50 knots and MLCAPE of 1500-2000+ J/kg
with damaging wind gusts and large hail possible. A few tornadoes
are also possible associated with supercells near the front from
northeast Pennsylvania/western New Jersey. These storms should
continue to move east-southeast across the region and eventually
coalesce into a QLCS this evening as it reaches marine influenced,
stable low-levels in eastern New Jersey.
