   Mesoscale Discussion 1083
NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK
   1129 PM CDT Tue Jun 07 2022

   Areas affected...Southwest KS...Eastern OK/TX Panhandles...Northwest
   OK

   Concerning...Severe Thunderstorm Watch 326...

   Valid 080429Z - 080630Z

The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 326
   continues.

SUMMARY...Severe threat continues across ww326 and may spread
southeast into northwestern Oklahoma around 06z. New ww may be
warranted to account for this activity.

DISCUSSION...Scattered supercells that developed over southeast CO
earlier this evening have propagated into southwest KS, extending
into the northeast TX Panhandle region. While LLJ is weak across the
southern High Plains, some low-level warm advection is observed and
a reservoir of modest buoyancy extends downstream ahead of this
activity into western OK. 500mb flow is just north of west into the
TX Panhandle which should contribute to convection spreading beyond
ww326 into western OK around 06z. MRMS continues to suggest at least
two supercells are producing very large hail and this threat should
continue. Additionally, severe wind gusts remain possible,
especially given the gust to 63kt in the OK Panhandle over the last
hour. If this activity continues to propagate downstream a new ww
   may be warranted.
