The severe weather threat for Tornado Watch 22 continues.

SUMMARY...Convection will continue to diminish in intensity this
evening and Tornado Watch 22 is expected to expire at 02z.

DISCUSSION...Convection has largely diminished in intensity this
evening as outflow and loss of heating has largely stabilized the
boundary layer. Some stronger storms may move back into parts of the
middle and upper Texas coastal vicinity later tonight as the surface
cold front drops south across the region. However, this likely will
be after 06z. Given the downward convective trend of current
activity and the window of several hours before any more robust
convection may impact the area, Tornado Watch 22 is expected to
expire at 02z.
