SUMMARY...A band of moderate to locally heavy snow capable of
producing snowfall rates up to 1 inch per hour will continue to
become established and persist into the overnight hours.

DISCUSSION...Radar loops continue to depict the consolidation of a
band of snow from eastern SD to western/southern WI. This activity
is supported by ascent accompanying low-to-mid-level frontogenetic
circulations amidst a warm-advection pattern. The ascent will
continue to extend through relatively deep dendritic growth zones in
support of snow rates to 1 inch per hour through the overnight
hours, as mesoscale banding continues. The axis of the band of
heavier snow could exhibit little overall motion, as a low-amplitude
midlevel trough approaches from the northern High Plains.
