The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 314
continues.

SUMMARY...Severe threat will focus across southern portions of
ww314.

DISCUSSION...Slow-moving MCS has developed over southeast KS/MO this
evening. MCV may be evolving just northeast of Kansas City which
will encourage continued eastward propagation across the MO portion
of this activity. However, southwestern flank of the MCS is only
sagging south with new updrafts developing north of the outflow
likely producing hail at times. These trends should continue for the
next several hours and the slow movement may lead to more heavy rain
than actual severe. Regardless, convection should approach the
southern edge of the watch by 02z, then possibly sag south of the
KS/OK border later this evening.
