The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 312
continues.

SUMMARY...Eastward advancement of a well-organized MCS continues,
along with local wind damage risk.

DISCUSSION...Latest radar loop shows a clearly defined mesolow just
south of TVK/northwest of IRK, with a well-organized bowing line
crossing the northern half of Missouri.  No recent reports of
severe-caliber wind gusts have been received, but given the
available instability ahead of the band and the observed degree of
organization, strong/potentially damaging wind gusts remain possible
along the line.  Storms are approaching the southern fringe of the
watch across Missouri, and will eventually do the same on the
eastern fringe over west-central Illinois.  We will continue to
monitor convective trends, with respect to possible need for WW
extensions in time/area, or possible new WW issuance.
