The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 280
continues.

SUMMARY...The severe weather threat continues for WW 280, and a
local watch extension may be needed to cover the short term
potential.

DISCUSSION...Latest mesoanalysis shows moderate buoyancy and ample
shear remaining in place across much of the watch area, with
strong/intermittently severe storms ongoing as of 0450z.  Latest
high-res guidance suggests some severe threat will continue in the
short term, likely requiring a local watch extension beyond the 06z
scheduled expiration.  

Upstream, severe thunderstorms are expected to evolve into a bowing
segment, possibly requiring a new ww for portions of
western/southern IN in the pre-dawn hours.
