The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 263
continues.

SUMMARY...Damaging winds, along with some hail threat, remain
possible across ww263.

DISCUSSION...Small MCS has matured over the northwestern portion of
ww263. Leading edge of this activity is surging southeast at roughly
25kt as it propagates along the northern edge of stronger
instability that stretches across the TX Panhandle into northwestern
TX. Given the cold pool that appears to be forming with this
cluster, it would seem this complex should continue propagating
southeast toward the AMA region, possibly reaching I-40 by 0630z.
Farther southwest, more disorganized convection extends along the NM
border but there has been some increase over Oldham County TX where
large hail is likely occurring. Despite the capping that was
observed at AMA this evening, sufficient organization/cold pool with
these clusters should allow for further propagation, likely across
the remainder of ww263 by 08z.
