The severe weather threat for Tornado Watch 21 continues.

SUMMARY...Severe threat will progress across the remainder of ww021
over the next 2-3 hours.

DISCUSSION...Latest satellite imagery depicts a well-defined upper
trough over western NM with the leading edge of strong forcing
beginning to influence the back edge of ongoing convection. Broken
band of storms that currently extends from Scurry-Glasscock-Pecos
County will likely be supported enough to migrate east-northeast
across the remainder of ww021 later this evening. While embedded
supercells could produce a few tornadoes, it appears hail/wind may
be the primary severe threats as the primary storm mode transitions
away from supercells, in response to the approaching trough.
