SUMMARY...A very isolated hail/wind threat should continue through
the early evening. Watch issuance is not expected.

DISCUSSION...Storms have recently developed along an area of weak
low-level convergence across parts of western/central KS. Low-level
lapse rates have steepened considerably along/south of this
boundary, and water-loaded downdraft winds could briefly reach
severe levels. Very isolated instances of large hail could also
occur given moderate to strong instability present across this
region. Overall severe threat is expected to remain both marginal
and isolated as shear will remain generally weak, and with no
obvious large-scale forcing mechanisms present. This threat should
diminish after sunset as convective inhibition increases with the
loss of diurnal heating. Watch issuance is not expected.
