The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 605
continues.

SUMMARY...Storms are continuing to develop across portions of
eastern Virginia and Maryland and into southeast Pennsylvania with
isolated damaging winds possible.

DISCUSSION...Outflow dominant, multicellular convection continues
across northeast Virginia into Maryland. Storms are relatively
short-lived with new storms initiating off outflow boundaries from
collapsing storms. MLCAPE of 1500-2500 J/kg remains across the area,
which along with steep low-level lapse rates, should continue to
support the potential for isolated damaging winds gusts. Storms have
also developed over southeast Virginia and southeast Pennsylvania
within the similar hot, moist, and unstable airmass. Flow remains
weak through the vertical profile, which will limit organization and
large hail potential. Storms are likely to weaken after sunset.
