The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 28
continues.

SUMMARY...Primarily an isolated strong to damaging wind threat
should continue across Severe Thunderstorm Watch 28 through 02Z (10
pm EDT).

DISCUSSION...Recent radar imagery shows thunderstorms have congealed
into a line across southeastern Lower MI. Modifying the 00Z DTX
sounding for current observations across this region shows weak but
sufficient instability to support surface-based thunderstorm
potential for about the next hour. Effective bulk shear around 60-70
kt will continue to organize these thunderstorms. Isolated strong to
damaging winds should remain the main threat given the linear nature
of the convection. With a current east-northeastward motion storm
motion of 40-50 kt, these thunderstorms should move east of WW 28
around 02Z, which is the scheduled expiration time.
